Laura Stenmark

Laura joined QED as director of tax in 2022. In this role, she manages QED’s internal tax process and coordinates with third-party service providers. She also works with the portfolio companies and QED investors to provide timely tax reporting and consult on tax strategies.

Prior to QED, Laura spent seven years in public accounting with Grant Thornton.  During her rise to manager, she specialized in pass-through entity tax, specifically Subchapter K. Her focus also included individual income tax.

Laura received her Master of Science in Taxation from James Madison University. She lives with her husband and son in Fairfax, Va.
