John Crenshaw

John is an executive with broad and deep experience in financial services, credit management, and analytics. He has 20 years of experience as a manager, operator, and senior credit officer at Capital One followed by experience advising portfolio companies, mostly within LatAm, at QED, then as a partner at AQN Strategies providing strategy and analytic consulting to financial companies of all sizes across the western hemisphere.  

John has deep experience in consumer and small business products including deposits, credit cards, mortgage, auto, installment loans and lines of credit. Work experience ranges from well-known global banks to pre-launch startups in management, consulting and advisory.

He is passionate about helping companies grow and win by using structured problem solving and data to make better decisions, and he is currently advising portfolio companies at QED in several countries focusing on starting and growing lending functions.  

John lives in Arlington, Va., holds a BSE from Princeton University and enjoys cooking, running and driving his 15 year old to sports practices and games all over the greater DC area.
