Fernando Gonzalez

Fernando is a Partner & Operating Executive at QED Investors. He is currently the acting CEO at Coru, which is one of QED’s portfolio companies based in Mexico.  Prior to QED, Fernando spent two decades working for rapid-growing organizations in the USA, leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Mobile, and Cloud technologies. Most recently, Fernando served as a senior executive at comScore where he pioneered new verticals and exited a business to Adobe.  Prior to comScore, Fernando spent over 14 years in various senior roles at MicroStrategy, where he built up his career as an analytics professional and exited a business to Facebook. Fernando is an engineer by training and began his career as a consultant specializing in large-scale ERP implementations for multinational corporations and has since developed a versatile portfolio of capabilities including enterprise sales, channel distribution, marketing, digital funnels, product management, strategy, and general management. He holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico. In his free time, Fernando enjoys training for triathlons and marathons, playing tennis or coaching youth sports. He is also an active angel investor, as well as a mentor and advisor to a few entrepreneurs.
